About
I’m Sarah Power, a Dublin-based composer, pianist, and producer whose work bridges contemporary classical and ambient electronica. I specialise in crafting bespoke scores that are deeply connected to the emotional core of each story – essentially, I’m a musical storyteller. I love collaborating closely with directors and producers to shape sound worlds that elevate each project’s unique narrative.
After over a decade as a touring session musician, my journey led to a commissioned album of evocative solo piano pieces for Warner Chappell in Los Angeles. With more than 100 production music credits spanning the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia, my compositions continue to resonate across film, television, and beyond. I also work as an assistant composer to Kormac, contributing to scores for BBC, Alibi TV, and The New Yorker.
Having spent much of my career behind the scenes – from touring with Stephanie Rainey to assisting on productions like This Town (BBC) and The Boy That Never Was (RTÉ) – I’ve recently stepped forward with In The Shadows, my debut EP. Blending felted piano, strings, and ambient textures, it reflects my journey from quietly supporting others to finding my own voice – not by chasing the spotlight, but by stepping into it quietly, on my own terms.
